Classes at Port Antonio High School suspended over security issue

Classes at Port Antonio High School in Portland were suspended on Friday following a security issue that forced the evacuation of the institution.

Police and fire personnel responded to the incident and conducted a search of the school.

Traffic had to be diverted.

It is understood that the school activated its emergency alarm and that students were ushered off the school grounds.
