The celebration of Child's Month has been a long tradition in a country now struggling with handling violence against the vulnerable young. Looking back at how long we have been celebrating our children is a good way to recognise how much we have failed in this area and maybe point to some of the reasons to keep trying to ensure our children remain our most important asset.
