WIBDECO discourages farmers

Windward Island banana farmers are being advised against further investments in the banana sector.



The Chief Executive Officer of the Windward Island Banana Development Company, says the recent Economic Partnership Agreement, EPA will affect the industry.



Bernard Cornibert says that with the new agreement the European Union can choose not to purchase bananas from the Windward Islands because they are not able to meet the production quota.
