EPA rotten deal for banana farmers

The regional banana marketing company claims caribbean banana farmers have gotten a raw deal under the recently signed Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).



The Windward Island Banana Development and the Exporting Company said the EPA with the European Union (EU) will not solve the problems of the Windward Islands Banana Industry.



Chief Executive Officer, Bernard Cornibert says it is clear that the banana producing Windward Islands have been left in a disadvantageous position.
