Metrobells beat Braves Smiles in Basketball League

Metrobells beat Braves Smilers 73 to 66 as the Modern Rubber Stamp/Joy McLeod Custom Brookers women’s basketball league continued yesterday.
Tara Wilson (20 points) scored most goals for Metrobells. She was supported by Tashi Williams (15 points), Anna-Kay Morris (14 points) and Althea Byfield (11 points).
Shasha Dixon of Braves Smilers scored a game high 33 points and 20 rebounds.
The second game between Angels and Panthers was postponed because of rain.
The league continues on Wednesday with two reschedule games.
