Heather Laine making 2018 chic
Heather Laine showcased her 2018 collection at their Annual Mother's Day Brunch and Fashion Show, at the Lancaster venue ... and it was a treat!
After mothers were feted by their loves and served brunch, they got to be the first to see what Heather Laine had in her bag as it pertains to fashion for 2018. The show, hosted by Joan McDonald, was broken up into different categories to showcase diversity in design and colour, to appeal to every woman, irrespective of their age, size or figure.
They started off with their Wakanda theme just to give guests a taste of African print, because of its demand ever since the blockbuster Black Panther. Then they went into their signature white designs. This is what Heather Laine is known for. While white is beautiful, it is not that easy to wear, but they have mastered the cuts and designs to ensure that it is appealing to every body type.
They smoothly transitioned into a cruise wear that has a navy-and-white colour scheme, which included breezy designs, stripes and polka dots. They were well accessorised with Irie Threads clutches and bags - perfect vacation chic pieces.
It was time for more splashes of colour, from dramatic print to the seductive reds for their Fantasy line. These had functional, versatile pieces that would make you feel beautiful. There were jumpsuits that never goes out of style, to wide flowing lounge pieces that would be great for that garden party or beach wedding. If you like to show off your curves, you would also find something that would do just that and still keep you looking elegant.
No stone was left unturned, as they even had a few formal and cocktail pieces in their collection to suit the edgy and classy. Mothers and guests were thoroughly entertained by the show and it was evident as they scurried towards the store to make their purchases after the show, which would have had a Mother's Day discount.
