67-year-old found dead at sea near Hellshire in Portmore

The St Catherine South police are investigating the suspected drowning of a senior citizen whose body was found floating in the sea near Hellshire in Portmore on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 67-year-old George Brown of Angels Estate, Phase 2 in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
His body was reportedly seen floating at about 8:20 a.m. in the vicinity of Hellshire Beach. The Marine police were alerted and they subsequently retrieved the body.
Checks later confirmed the identity of the deceased as Brown.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.
