Motorists warned about traffic delays amid Holness’ swearing-in
Motorists are being advised by the police to expect delays along Hope Road, East Kings House Road, and surrounding areas in St Andrew on Tuesday as Prime Minister-designated Dr Andrew Holness is to be sworn in at King’s House.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to exercise patience and plan their routes accordingly.
This will be Holness' fourth time being sworn in as prime minister, having first taken the office in 2011, following the resignation of former prime minister Bruce Golding.
Holness again took the oath of office in 2016 and 2020, when his party won the general elections.
