Two boys accused of stealing 'pardner’ money in St Andrew
The police have charged two teen boys over the theft of cash from a house in Temple Hall, St Andrew, between August 18 and 20.
The two, who are both 15, will not be named as they are children.
According to a police statement issued on Saturday, the boys are accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars that had been stored under a mattress.
Investigators say the money was being kept by a “banker” for a community partner plan.
The statement did not include the specific sum allegedly stolen.
Following investigations, the teenagers were taken into custody and later charged with larceny from the dwelling after a question-and-answer session.
