Hoaxer being sought over security scare at Seaview Gardens Police Station

The police are seeking to locate a caller who caused a security scare at the Seaview Gardens Police Station in St Andrew on Wednesday.

According to police reports, around 3:20 p.m., a male caller claimed that an explosive device had been planted at the station.

This triggered emergency protocols, and the relevant agencies were called in.

Checks were conducted, but no device was found.

The police are now searching for the hoaxer and continue to monitor the situation.
