Ahead of their public performances at the Little Theatre in St Andrew over the weekend, the US Embassy in Jamaica, in partnership with Plié for the Arts, welcomed the renowned Ailey II dance company with a private reception last Thursday. The event also introduced the new Chargé d’Affaires Scott Renner to Jamaica’s cultural, business, and government leaders.

The evening served as a lively prelude to the Kingston leg of the Ailey II Amalgamation tour, presented by Plié for the Arts, capping their regional tour with a fitting finale after appearances in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.
