Digicel Play - Slowest and worst customer service
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I signed up for a Play Big package on October 4, 2017, for my home. The Digicel Play representative came to my office, signed me up and collected my deposit (in cash) of JMD$3,000 on the same day. After not hearing anything from her on the process, sometime in November, I called her, only to be told that the service was no longer available in my area, as all the available ports had been used up. Although disappointed, it was hard to imagine that it took over a month to tell me that and I had to call to get the information. Regardless, we agreed that I am due the refund of the deposit.
From then until now, I have yet to receive the said deposit of $3,000. I have called the same representative repeatedly, about the refund. Not once has she called me. For a company that deals with communications, they really don't communicate!
I must say I am grateful that I did not get the package because if this is the experience that I have had with DigiceI Play and I don't even have the service, I shudder to think of the problems I would have had with them if I had got it!
