Salomé | The dancing seductress
The National Theatre Live: Salome will be showing at Palace Multiplex in Montego Bay only.
The story has been told before, but never like this. An occupied desert nation. A radical from the wilderness on hunger strike. A girl whose mysterious dance will change the course of the world.
Salome, the story of the dancing seductress who demanded the head of John the Baptist, has been reclaimed by internationally acclaimed theatre director Yael Farber (Les Blancs) in this new feminist interpretation of the biblical tale. The production stars: Isabella Nefar (Salome), Philip Arditti (Caiaphus), Paul Chahidi (Herod) and Olwen Fouere (Salome's nameless mother).
Salome will be playing this Thursday, January 11, at Palace Multiplex in Montego Bay.
